Emphysema is a common clinical manifestation of AATD and a key feature of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).² In patients with AATD, panacinar emphysema predominantly affects the lower lobes of the lungs.¹ Early-onset emphysema in individuals aged 45 years or less has also been reported in AATD.¹
